- University of Ibadan: B. Sc Honours (Chemistry) – 1967
- Post – Graduate Diploma in Education from ABU, Zaria
- Member of the National Institute, Kuru, Jos
- Fellowof the Institute of Training and Development, United Kingdom (FITD)
MILITARY SERVICE: Commissioned LT in 1968, and after number of initial military orientation training courses in Nigeria and abroad, he settled into a service that ended a brilliant military career with his voluntary retirement in May 1996 in the enviable rank of a-two star General.
