CATEGORY 3: ACTION PLAN: LIVING A BETTER RETIREMENT OLD AGE LIFE

In the effort to ensure that grassroots men, women and youths are not trapped in the poverty cycle in their old age, BLIFA organizes enlightenment workshops and seminars to educate them on a better retirement old age option plan.

BLIFA collaborates with financial institutions, Insurance as well as health care providers. This enlightenment and empowerment programmes are also aimed at reducing the burden of caring for helpless aged people by the government and extended family.

Our targets are the market women associations, Road transport workers union, hairdressers and barbers’ unions, carpenters, artisans, etc. These groups are not under government / corporate organization services where staffs are placed on the compulsory pension scheme.
